Unions and workers are “under attack” from the Trump administration, the president of the AFL-CIO said in her annual State of the Unions address last week. But Liz Shuler pledged that “working people are going to save ourselves.”
Looking forward to Labor Week, Shuler said that under the current administration and long before, federal workers have lost their jobs, immigrant workers have been kidnapped and deported, and billionaires and CEOs are taking over the government. She noted that workers of all backgrounds were now under attack.
