Maybe Donald Trump’s moronic mistakes, corruption and coverup related to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool could borrow the title, "Soylent Green," the dystopian thriller film about overpopulation, starvation and the wealthy protecting themselves and their wealth from the desperate and starving poor. The food to feed the masses, Soylent Green, was supposed to be made from oceanic plankton, but was actually made of human bodies.
Aside from the title, Soylent Green and the change of color of the reflecting pool, Donald Trump is preoccupied with the pool and the ballroom to the exclusion of the war with Iran and the economic problems for most Americans. Trump’s disregard for human life and his contempt for everyone in the world except himself fits perfectly with the disregard for human life in the movie, Soylent Green.
We now know from New York Times reports that the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool turned green with algae after Donald Trump had the nanobubblers, temporary water purification machines used to prevent algae from forming, removed because they were eyesores for the people attending Trump’s Ultimate Fighting Championship birthday party. When the water purification machines were removed the algae turned the Reflecting Pool green.
Donald Trump’s moronic and impossible claims of sabotage by Democratic Trump-haters shows his dementia has progressed. No one could possibly believe that some traitorous diver used a boxcutter to slice through 300 feet of the rubber sealer on the bottom of the pool, while others poisoned Trump’s beautiful cobalt blue Reflecting Pool.
The malicious idiot, Trump, now has his sycophantic cops and prosecutors arresting and threatening to prosecute everyone who went near the pool just to blame someone else for the ugly green Reflecting Pool and the disintegrating rubber sealer. According to Trump, he never makes a mistake; it’s always someone else’s fault. The United States of America is the laughingstock of the world, thanks to our lying clown of a president and our impotent, cowardly Republican Congress who kowtow to Trump.

Gorman’s letter about Mr. Trump and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is a blatant distortion of the facts. Mr. Trump informed media that six individuals were arrested for vandalism and destruction of government property. David Hearn was arrested by Park Police and indicted on a felony charge of destroying government property. Six more were arrested for pool tampering, confirmed by US Attorney Janine Pirro. Other individuals were also cited for pool tampering. The Trump administration stated that suspects used box cutters or razors to slash a 300-to-350-foot gash into the pool’s liner and threw 70 fence post tops into the water. Mr. Trump has stated that the federal government is actively prosecuting individuals caught tampering with the site’s physical structure. He’s tired of vandals being ignored and has taken a firm stance to send a clear message: if you commit acts of vandalism, you’ll be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Gorman’s claim that Mr. Trump inquired if the vandals were Democrats is a complete fabrication.

No one sliced up the liner of the reflecting pool. This is bogus and a false flag. Perhaps Trump's cronies did it to distract from the no bid contract and incompetence in redoing the pool.

As posited in Occam's Razor - the simplest solution is usually the best. The pool liner failed because an unqualified contractor used an untested material. To top things off, the tight time constraints made proper preparation impossible.
Interior Department inspectors discovered and reported bubbles and holes in the membrane before the work was completed and the pool filled. Apparently, nothing was done to correct the situation.

Get your news from nonpartisan sources. The perpetrator, David Hearn, was caught red-handed cutting the pool liner in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. As stated in my previous post, David Hearn was arrested by Park Police and indicted on felony charges. You two guys like to spin the facts, but as usual, you failed!

You are spinner, a spinner of lies. Keep drinking the Kook-Aid. No cuts were made. Tough luck. He didn't cut the pool, he was picking up the broken pieces that were supposedly fixed by the incompetent contractor. It will be a flimsy indictment at best and he won't be convicted of any crime. I am sure you get your news from "nonpartisan sources" like the NY Post, Fox News and Newsmax, the real fake news.
