To the editor:
Wonders and miracles do happen, especially in the Iran war. President Donald Trump conversed with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, leading to a major diplomatic breakthrough in the ongoing conflict with Iran.
If Iran agrees to fully open the Strait of Hormuz, Mr. Trump said he’d suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for two weeks.
President Trump has deemed a 10-point proposal from Iran a viable negotiation foundation. While most past points of contention have been resolved, a two-week period will finalize and implement the agreement.
Israel backs President Trump’s decision to suspend strikes against Iran for two weeks, contingent upon Iran’s prompt opening of the straits and cessation of attacks on the U.S., Israel, and regional nations.
Mr. Trump expressed optimism that Iran understands the significance of peace and is willing to coexist peacefully with Israel and its neighboring countries.
In conclusion, President Trump acknowledges that genuine peace is characterized by justice and cooperation, rather than merely the absence of conflict. President Trump expresses hope that Iran comprehends this fundamental principle.

It’s a wonder and miracle that Mr. Sica calls out President Trump’s lie by acknowledging that this is a “war”, and not an excursion or journey. And if Trump actually believes that Iran wants to peacefully coexist peacefully with Israel, God knows what fairy dust his handler Putin sprinkled on him.

The definitions of war are as follows:
war (noun )
a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state: Japan declared war on Germany | the two countries had been at war for six years.
• a particular armed conflict: after the war, they immigrated to America.
• a state of competition, conflict, or hostility between different people or groups: she was at war with her parents | a price war among discount retailers.
• a sustained effort to deal with or end a particular unpleasant or undesirable situation or condition: the authorities are waging war against all forms of smuggling | a war on drugs.
Obviously, America is at war with Iran.
Unlike liberals, I call it like I see it—no partisanship!
Iran has repeatedly declared, “Death to Israel!”
The most effective solution to this predicament is to ensure that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon.
Iran’s stance on the annihilation of the State of Israel is unwavering and will remain unchanged.

Amidst the rising anti-Semitic rhetoric against the Jewish people and the State of Israel, it is an opportune moment for all Jews worldwide to witness Masa Israel Journey’s International Yom HaZikaron Ceremony. This grand English-Language Memorial Day ceremony stands as the largest of its kind globally, honoring lone soldiers and victims of terrorism from across the Jewish Diaspora.
This is the largest English-language Memorial Day ceremony in the world, commemorating lone soldiers and victims of terror from across the Jewish Diaspora. The ceremony will be held in English, translated into additional languages, and broadcast to hundreds of thousands of Jews around the world—from Turkey and Ukraine, across Europe, to the United States, Australia, Morocco, and New Zealand.
“For several years now, we have been in an ongoing war for our existence—not only the Jewish people in Israel, but the Jewish people everywhere. This year, Masa’s International Yom HaZikaron Ceremony is more meaningful than ever before. ‘Together, We Remember’ is not just a slogan—it is an essential truth for our people. In the upcoming ceremony, hundreds of thousands from all corners of the world will watch, from near and far, as we remember together all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the continued existence of the State of Israel—especially those who came here from around the world, who chose Israel as their home, or who were murdered solely for being Jewish. We will remember them together, forever, as heroes. May the memory of the fallen be a blessing.”
Link to the live broadcast:
The ceremony will begin on April 20, 2026 (Yom HaZikaron eve) at 7:55 PM (Israel time)

March 28, 2026 quote from Donald Trump "We call it a military operation. We don’t call it a war."

At the time Trump made that statement, he was indeed correct in calling it a military operation. However, it has now escalated into a war, and in my opinion, it will likely end favorably for both Israel and the United States in the near future.
