After a 3-month illness and being in 3 different medical facilities, my dear mom has passed away at 96. If not for her traditional Medicare/SeniorCare insurance, I don't know what I would have done. I can't even fathom it. She had excellent care. To have taken her off traditional Medicare/Medigap would have been horrendous. She would not and could not have had the care she had at the facilities chosen under that dis-Advantage plan for her final days. She was promised traditional Medicare when she was hired by the city and throughout her working life. Shame on all the crooks behind this problem. Follow the money (obviously).
