To the Editor: Andrew Yang, with no relevant experience, ran unsuccessfully in the 2020 Democratic primaries for "the toughest job in America": President of the United States. One year later, he apparently believes that experience, in which he failed to win a single delegate, qualifies him for the "second-toughest job in America": Mayor of New York City.
Yang has led in early polls, presumably because of name recognition from his presidential run, and his sunny public disposition. When people see him on the street, he says, they feel good.
