To the Editor: It looks like just in the nick of time, Mayor de Blasio and the Department of Education may, this once, have looked before they leapt.
There's a flicker of hope that they're capable of rethinking an ugly policy decision regarding a formal repudiation of the concept of neighborhood schools.
