To the Editor: President Joe Biden said what he wanted to say, and said what needed to be said in his address to the nation on Wednesday night.
He highlighted the progress and successes of his administration in the first hundred days of his presidency. He outlined a reasonable and progressive agenda. He didn't hesitate to throw down the gauntlet to his Republican adversaries led by Sen. Mitch McConnell, Sen. Lindsey Graham, Congressman Keven McCarthy and the "usual suspects" who are focused on obstructing everything he wants to do, even when the voters in their respective states favor Biden's policies.
