In responding to the de Blasio administration's decision to suspend in-person testing for city jobs indefinitely, Organization of Staff Analysts Chairman Bob Croghan called it a logical move given the circumstances. Social-distancing restrictions make it impracticable to administer exams the old-fashioned way, and the city figures to be doing little hiring in the months ahead given the mountainous budget deficits that it, along with the state, is currently facing.
