Less than 24 hours after Governor Cuomo June 8 announced a reorganization of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority that shuffled its top executives, he pulled the legislation required to make it happen, according to a spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins.
"The Senate made it clear that we would not be passing this legislation," responded Mike Murphy, the communications director for the Democratic Majority.
