Governor Cuomo has embroiled himself in a number of verbal battles lately, with his targets ranging from President Trump to the forces he believes killed the Amazon deal to the young female legislators who criticized a $25,000-a-couple fundraiser he held in mid-March at a time when the state budget was in play.
Each of those pet peeves in some way involved changes that threatened the tight control he exerted during his first two terms over how business is done in Albany and the assumptions he has long held about how public discourse is conducted.
