The Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union gained the right to a do-over of its bid to represent workers at an Amazon warehouse in Bessemer, Ala. after the regional director of the National Labor Relations Board covering that area upheld a hearing officer's finding that the package-delivery giant used illegal tactics to defeat an organizing drive early last spring.
No date has been set for a new vote, and no ground rules have yet been established to avert a repeat of the improprieties.
