Communications Workers of America Local 1180 and the de Blasio administration have reached a contract deal that calls for a 7.25-percent wage hike over 43 months and seven days. The package was approved by a unanimous vote of the Local 1180 bargaining committee and now heads to the rank and file next month for ratification.
The agreement tracks the wage pattern set by District Council 37 in July 2018 and the United Federation of Teachers in October 2018.
