The Metro New York Labor Communications Council Sept. 30 will honor two Professors at the City University of New York's School of Labor and Urban Studies, Stephanie Luce and Ruth Milkman, as its Labor Communicators of the Year.
Conducted via Zoom from 10 a.m. to noon, the event will also feature a panel discussion on Advancing Antiracist Practices in Labor Communications. The panelists will include New York State Nurses Association President Judy Sheridan-Gonzalez, Bill Fletcher, Hassani Gittens, Cara Noel and Garry Pierre-Pierre.
