Given that President Trump is an inveterate gossip, we can’t say we’re surprised that he signed on to a supporter’s conspiracy theory that Bill and Hillary Clinton had a role in the apparent suicide of Jeffrey Epstein.
But Mr. Trump’s re-tweeting of comedian Terrence Williams’s surmise that Mr. Epstein “had information on Bill Clinton & now he’s dead” and “for some odd reason, people that have information on the Clintons end up dead” was breathtaking in a couple of respects.
