Employers in California will be required to alert their employees within a day if they were at risk of potential exposure to COVID-19 at their workplaces, according to one of two laws enacted by Governor Gavin Newsom, the Sacramento Bee reported.
The other piece of legislation signed by Gov. Newsom Sept. 17 makes more Californians automatically eligible for workers’ compensation if they contract the coronavirus virus.
