Four U.S. Senators have requested information from Amazon following reports the company has undermined its employees’ efforts to unionize, The Hill reported.

The Senators, three Democrats along with Independent Bernie Sanders, asked Amazon to detail its policies and actions after news reports that the e-commerce behemoth was retaliating against workers seeking to organize.

“Each of these reports is deeply troubling, and taken together, they suggest a pattern of significant abuse of workers and their rights,” Sens. Sanders (I-Vt.), Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) wrote in their Oct. 15 letter to CEO Jeff Bezos. They requested answers by Nov. 1.
