To the Editor: After disregarding all the warnings from Correction unions and steering the DOC Titanic directly into the iceberg, Correction Commissioner Cynthia Brann announced her resignation May 11.
She leaves 9,000 uniformed staff with their heads barely above water, submerged in peril and chaos, and NYC jails sinking deeper in distress, much worse than how she found them in 2017.
