Following the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, national and local labor unions across the country condemned the decision and pledged their support and commitment to their members’ reproductive health.
Liz Shuler, recently elected to a first full term as AFL-CIO president, released a statement shortly after the opinion’s release that emphasized assaults on reproductive rights followed attacks on workplace rights.
