Eleven of the city’s uniformed unions and the Adams administration have negotiated a tentative five-year contract agreement giving 32,000 workers compounded raises of 17.77 percent over the life of the deal.
The agreement covers the NYPD’s detectives, sergeants, lieutenants and captains, the FDNY’s firefighters and officers, the Correction Department’s officers, captains and assistant deputy wardens, and Sanitation’s officers and chiefs.
