Federal labor law is the groundwork that guarantees workers will get a fair shake in the workplace, and it’s that foundation that has guided Jennifer Abruzzo during her tenure as the National Labor Relations Board’s general counsel.
The National Labor Relations Act "is about equalizing bargaining power between employers and employees,” Abruzzo said at a forum held at CUNY School of Law in her home borough of Queens Thursday. “It’s a pro-worker statute and so that’s the lens within which I’ve worked everyday that I’ve worked at the NLRB.”
