Nurses at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn seeking a new contract agreement submitted a 10-day strike notice to the hospital’s management Tuesday night, according to their union.
The pact covering 1,000 nurses at the hospital is set to expire Feb. 28. The United Federation of Teachers’ Federation of Nurses said that the hospital’s management has persistently violated contractual patient-staffing ratios.
