With another coronavirus wave anticipated in the city over the coming weeks, the president of the New York State Nurses Association said nurses have not let their guard down and urged hospitals to reciprocate.
“Our biggest concern is staffing. Hospitals need to hire more nurses to protect the community,” Nancy Hagans said during an April 11 interview. “Most of our hospitals are understaffed right now.”
