The owner of a New Jersey construction company pleaded guilty to violating federal safety regulations in connection with the August 2017 death of a worker killed by a collapsing concrete wall at a Poughkeepsie construction site.
Finbar O’Neill, of Paramus, faces six months in prison and a $250,000 fine following his plea to a single count of willful violation of OSHA regulations resulting in death when he is sentenced by a U.S. magistrate in May. His company, OneKey LLC, was also found liable and could be fined $500,000, the office of U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said.
