To the Editor: Lashawn McNeil's mother made the 911 call to get the NYPD cops to help her control her 47-year-old son, who had a criminal record and was known by her to have had guns in the past. However, she did not tell P.O. Rivera and P.O. Mora that her son might have guns when they came to her apartment. Therefore, McNeil's mother is also responsible for the deaths of P.O. Rivera and P.O. Mora.
