For the third straight time, there will be no union-wide elections to install a successor to an outgoing president at the city’s largest transit workers' local.
Instead, TWU Local 100’s executive committee will vote next month to determine who replaces Richard Davis, who was effectively ousted as the union’s president following allegations that he pressured a female subordinate into having sex with him on several occasions and then threatened to kill her if she spoke about the encounters.
