Elected officials and advocates are calling on the Adams administration to undo the cancellation of a 250-person class of school safety agents, citing the potential for violence, including from outside actors.
The cohort, which was set to start training at the end of last month, was scrapped Oct. 27 after initially being reduced to a 150-person class, according to Assemblyman Michael Tannousis.
