To the editor:
The racist insults to Puerto Ricans from Donald Trump’s “comedian” were compounded by his failure to disavow the comments and apologize, calling his MSG trash fest a “love fest.” This echoed his description of the January 6 insurrection as a “day of love.”
I guess Trump never understood the definition and meaning of the word “love.” For Trump “love” is an expression of hatred, and his cult followers are fine with that.
Trump once said he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose any supporters; he now goes further and believes he would not even lose the support of the victim he shot. So he believes he can insult Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics, and they will still vote for him.
When the election results come in, we will find out if Trump is correct that he can abuse and condemn supporters and still get their vote.

Today is the day of reckoning for Trump. The election will be close, but I think Harris will win by a close margin. Otherwise prepare for 4 years of lies, chaos, insanity and retribution. He'll pardon the January 6th insurrectionists. That is a mistake.
