There is an old adage that there are no atheists in a foxhole. I suggest a corollary to that — there are no small government politicians following a disaster. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just learned this in the same way then-New Jersey Governor Chris Christie did in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.
