The New York City Transit Authority is accepting applications for plant and equipment maintainers (HVAC) through Dec. 15 for practical-skills tests expected to start Feb. 7.
The minimum salary is $34.84 per hour for a 40-hour workweek, increasing to $40.81 in the sixth year. Benefits include night and weekend salary differentials, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, a comprehensive medical plan and a pension plan. The application fee is $85.
