Governor Kathy Hochul is reportedly considering exempting municipal employees from congestion pricing plan and implementing a lower toll than the previously proposed $15 fee, drawing praise from two unions representing city workers.
Hochul is thinking about lowering the congestion pricing toll to an undetermined amount for drivers entering Manhattan south of 60th Street during peak hours, according to the New York Post, which first reported on Hochul’s proposal.
