Maybe it's this terrible plague. Maybe it's my age. Maybe it's the emotional fatigue of nearly 50 years of political activity, trying to rectify our social and economic ills for good; and knowing that has not been achieved and will probably not be for a long time to come—time which I will likely not see.
Probably it's a combination of all this and more. Anyway, I seem to be mellowing. And, whatever the reason, I am finding myself to be somewhat at ease with what I am hearing and seeing from our President-elect so far.
