Doctors at four hospitals within the city’s public hospital system have agreed to postpone an unfair labor practice strike that was set to start Jan. 13.
Last month, physicians at Jacobi Medical Center, North Central Bronx Hospital, Queens Hospital Center and South Brooklyn Health voted overwhelmingly to approve the work stoppage. The workers announced the strike on Jan. 2, citing concerns about an “understaffing crisis.”
