To the editor:
A recent letter to The Chief, states, "half or a majority of adults in our nation are racist,
misogynistic and xenophobic" and that's why Kamala Harris wasn't elected (“A simple explanation,” Dec. 6). I take umbrage with the letter writer’s statement. Was he alive in 2008 and 2012 when a Black president was elected? Do you think people just had enough of inflation, border issues, and the perfidious ways of this administration? A lot of Americans saw less money in their pockets, bills skyrocketing and mortgage rates increasing. Even oil changes swelled. I disagree with the writer’s assessment. Seems to me that Donald Trump along with anyone that voted for him are the letter writer’s bête noire.
