The Adams administration has announced a program that will provide job opportunities for 1,500 New Yorkers who are involved in the criminal justice system.
The $15 million initiative, known as the Community Resources for Employment and Development program, will provide up to 24 weeks of training and internship opportunities in fields such as infrastructure, health care, media and technology, and participants will be placed into jobs within a three-month follow-up period.
