The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is accepting applications for Bus Operator through Nov. 30 for tests starting this month. The salary for Bus Operators at JFK, Far Rockaway and Spring Creek Depots is $23.84 per hour, increasing to $34.06 in the sixth year of service. Bus Operators at the College Point, Baisley Park, Eastchester, LaGuardia and Yonkers depots make $25.49 per hour, increasing to $36.42 in the sixth year.
Benefits include night and weekend salary differentials and a pension plan.
