Dozens of workers at the Brooklyn Museum due to be fired have secured a reprieve following an agreement between the institution’s management and District Council 37, the union said Monday.
The deal will permit the workers to instead take voluntary buyout packages that include three weeks' pay for each year of service, health insurance for up to four months and a reference letter from management to help find new employment.
