To the Editor: Great to see President Joe Biden call the shot to send in Special Forces commandos in Syria to take out the the head of Islamic State, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi al-Qurayshi, and his second in command.
Biden and the military did it with troops on the ground instead of a drone strike to try to save lives. Ten lives were reportedly saved, some of them children. The cowardly ISIS leader blew up himself and his family rather than come out and face his enemy—which would have saved his family.
