Nurses urged leadership at Albany Medical Center to settle a contract that will address staffing woes plaguing the facility.
Their union, the New York State Nurses Association, said hospital administrators have failed to adequately address staffing levels, even as the state Department of Health launched an investigation into the issue at the facility a year ago. The department delivered sobering findings just weeks later.
