Joseph Cannisi's "The ever-slippery slope" letter (June 17) about a U.S. Supreme Court decision that, voted for by Republican judges, expanded gun owners' rights with a dubious interpretation of the Second Amendment, was right on the mark. But the problem is not limited to the slippery slope.
