Thank you Stu. A few Union Leaders forgot that unions were founded in dissent. Joining a union does not mean you lost your free speech and own opinions. The leader still has to work hard to earn their members' respect. They still answer to the membership. The leadership of the UFT had a reckoning, as they Lost BOTH the Retired Teacher Chapter and the active Para Chapter! This means active workers are listening! We have a long way to go to correct these unions to work together and build on what we negotiated and not engage in attrition bargaining! LABOR HAS VALUE! And it should not reduced!
