To the Editor: The curfew was a terrible mass harassment on balmy early-summer evenings, especially when we were confined to quarters for fear of fatal infection. And the riot-geared police Mayor de Blasio sent into confrontation with bands of rallying and marching young people of all complexions increased our sense that the world was out of control.
The Mayor seems to share President Trump's perspective. Both rely on bullying.
