To the Editor: Looks like the National Weather Service has become the latest casualty in President Trump’s ongoing war against anyone and everyone who dares to disagree with the Genius-in-Chief.
His original tweet about Hurricane Dorian hitting Alabama with devastating force was based on a very early possible scenario when it was just starting to gather momentum on its northward trek—long before its eventual and actual path was precisely determined. Once it became clear that Dorian was staying to the east and would not be veering westward, putting Gulf states like Alabama at risk, President Trump should have tweeted out something like I’M GLAD I WAS WRONG.
