To the Editor: Roger Toussaint, who led the TWU on an ill-advised strike that cost them their dues check-off privileges and a substantial fine, is going to give Pat Lynch advice on how to run his union (Agu. 28 letter)? If The Chief is going to print a letter by a union head (current or former) attacking another union head, a higher degree of factual accuracy must be demanded by the editor.
I challenge Toussaint to provide a "policing system championed by MAGA" that isn't a figment of his imagination. I suggest he read the "Executive Order on Safe Policing for Safe Communities" issued on June 16, 2020 to see exactly what that policy is.
