To the Editor: In a wartime speech in 1940, Winston Churchill famously said, "Never was so much owed by so many to so few."
Now, during this coronavirus pandemic, with so many serving the public so bravely—from doctors to police officers to supermarket workers—we should make a change to Churchill's quote: "Never was so much owed by so many to so many."
