To the Editor: Nov. 9 was the 83rd anniversary of Kristallnacht, when synagogues throughout Germany were torched by order of the Nazi regime. It was followed in short order by the incineration of millions of Jews in the Holocaust. The world little noted nor cared. It was hardly deemed "fit to print" by newspapers of record.
Maybe if one scoured the dusty Department of Education archives, there might be some mention on a professional- development flyer.
