Making Russia Great Again

To the Editor: Danish philosopher Soren Kierkegaard once said, "Life can only be understood backwards."

Beginning in the second half of the 20th century, the Soviet Union was a dominant world power. Since then it has unsuccessfully attempted to undermine democracy in America. Even when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1988, Russia continued its "cold-war" attack on American ideology.
