To the Editor: I agree wholeheartedly with retired Assistant Deputy Warden Marc Bullaro's criticism of Department of Correction management for suspending a city correction officer 30 days without pay. But there's additional things I would add to his criticisms.
The officer's complaints, in a private phone call that was leaked to social media, are the jails are "crazy," there are "no doctors in the clinic," "the department does not have your back," "This is the worst I've ever seen" and "It's a useless battle."
