To the Editor:
I find the arguments made by Steven Danko (Aug. 9 letter) and Eric H. Deravin III (Aug. 16 letter) questionable. Just because Eric Garner might have been selling loose cigarettes that day and he put up an argument instead of submitting to arrest, that did not justify Officer Daniel Panteleo applying an illegal chokehold.
