To the Editor: Transport Workers Union Local 100 Bus Safety Director, Earl Phillips and TA Surface Vice President, J.P Patafio have conspired with management to eliminate jobs and put Bus Operators and the public at risk by allowing 60 foot articulated buses into the Ulmer Park bus depot.
On Friday, Nov. 1, I was alarmed to see a 60-foot articulated test bus on the B-1 bus route. Upon closer inspection, two union reps, Rhonda Hopkins the Ulmer Park Vice Chair and Carlos Saliva from the division were on the bus with management.
