As Governor Cuomo rolls out good-news pronouncements about reopenings throughout the state, he is apparently hoping that this will take the heat off him for the sex-harassment and nursing-home scandals he is mired in up to his neck.
On May 3 a reporter either fed him or straight line or baited a hook--depending on your level of cynicism--by asking whether the State Assembly, which has delayed impeachment proceedings to allow a sex-harassment probe commissioned by State Attorney General Letitia James to run its course, should ultimately believe the findings amid rumors that she's weighing a challenge to him when he seeks re-election next year.
